The OSI Group has announced that it has recently acquired Baho Foods which was a Dutch manufacturer of various convenience foods including deli meats and already made snacks to local businesses and retailers. The OSI Group reports having bought five different locations including Gelderland Frischwaren, Vital Convenience, Henri Van Bilt, Batx Foods, and Q Smart Life which serve their already made products to customers across 18 European countries.
The OSI Group is proud to purchase these locations as this will continue to provide the company additional exposure that they need across a large swath of Europe. John Balvers, the Director of Baho Foods, along with as many employees as possible will keep their jobs under the leadership of the new OSI Group as they look to expand their reach into Europe. OSI Group wants to partner with the former Baho Foods group to expand the OSI Group’s reach into many European countries as possible helping meet the growing production needs the OSI Group has due to growing consumer demands. OSI wants to use their new relationship with Baho Foods to continue to gain new customers as well as serve the faithful customers they already have. OSI Group strongly believes that with their joint forces with Baho Foods they will be able to serve the needs of their ever-growing customer base in a more complete, satisfying way which can benefit everyone involved including the consumer who will have more quality products to choose from.
OSI Group cites that it is very excited to partner with the Baho Foods corporation to help grow the market of frozen and pre-packaged goods that are available to customers in many European markets. The group believes that the management and employees from the Baho Foods, as all are being kept, will be able to provide more insight into the markets and businesses there. That will help the OSI Group better serve their existing customers as well as provide more options to win the company over more customers in the future.
