Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, Bradesco’s current CEO is expected to take up the chairman position following Lazaro Brandao’s resignation. The decision of him being Brandao’s successor equivalently bore another; finding a suitable member to fill his position. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi said that the bank’s initiative to select and name a new face for the position will take a collective 30 days. Brandao points out Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s contribution to the bank, saying that his efforts are consolidations of building and bettering the country. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi also adds that Brandao’s decision to hand over the council’s presidency will not be taken lightly, considering it as a sovereign and thoughtful act. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is an alumnus of the University Of Sao Paulo (USP) where he graduated with a post-graduate degree in Sociology and Politics. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is the CEO of Bradesco Previdencia Seguros SA, alternatively known as Bradesco Seguros.

He was a member at ArcelorMittal Brasil S.A’s management board. He held the position as Bradesco Vida e Previdencia S.A’s president until 1998 and moved to work as the president of Grupo Bradesco Seguros.
