Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi: Chaperoning The Success Of Bradesco To Greater Ranks

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi, Bradesco’s current CEO is expected to take up the chairman position following Lazaro Brandao’s resignation. The decision of him being Brandao’s successor equivalently bore another; finding a suitable member to fill his position. He will retain his rank as CEO while the board still figures out who will take up the position. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi said that the bank’s initiative to select and name a new face for the position will take a collective 30 days. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s appointment was highly anticipated with the decision equally steering an array of speculations.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi went ahead to point out that the awaited announcement might be made earlier. However, he adds that the next successor has to match the organization’s stature. With the consideration that Bradesco is run as a large complex and highly segmented organization, the net CEO is expected to meet up these standards. O Estado de S. He told journalists about his own free-will resignation which will not stop him from running some of Bradesco’s companies.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi now has the mantle of leading Brazil’s second-largest private lender in his hands. Brandao points out Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s contribution to the bank, saying that his efforts are consolidations of building and bettering the country. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi also adds that Brandao’s decision to hand over the council’s presidency will not be taken lightly, considering it as a sovereign and thoughtful act. He is equally optimistic about uplifting the company’s political and economic state through national contribution to monitoring direct foreign investments.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is an alumnus of the University Of Sao Paulo (USP) where he graduated with a post-graduate degree in Sociology and Politics. He pursued undergraduate studies in the same university’s faculty of Sciences, Philosophy, Arts, and Languages. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi started his career at Bradesco at the age of 16, on April 17, 1969, and has worked since then in different departments and ranks. He was made the Chief Executive Officer at Banco Bradesco S.A. from March 10, 2009, and still served as the Executive Vice President. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is the CEO of Bradesco Previdencia Seguros SA, alternatively known as Bradesco Seguros.

Banco Bradesco S.A had Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi serving as its managing director, departmental director, and vice president during different periods of his career. He was a member at ArcelorMittal Brasil S.A’s management board. He held the position as Bradesco Vida e Previdencia S.A’s president until 1998 and moved to work as the president of Grupo Bradesco Seguros. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi served from December 23, 2009, as the director and chairman of Odontoprev S.A. He is currently the director of Bradespar S.A and Banco Bradesco S.A’s internal director.
