Waiakea Water: The Impressive Bottled Water Brand

Waiakea Water was founded in 2012. In the three years that followed, the company grew by a whopping 4000%. Forbes estimates that the firm has a growth rate of 170 %. It is the first Hawaiian volcanic water brand. The water comes from both the snowmelt and rain on the pristine snow-capped active Mauna Loa volcano. The source has been termed as one of the purest on the planet.

The water passes through 14,000 feet of volcanic rock. In turn, this process imbues the water with minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium. These minerals are essential for skin, hair, bones and nail development. This quality sets the product apart as a unique one and forms part of the three pillars utilized by the founder to grow the business.

Waiakea water is founded on creating a sustainable product as the second pillar of the organization. The water is sourced from an aquifer with 1.4 billion gallon recharge rate. The facility uses 33% renewable energy in the packaging. The product has been the first premium bottled water and first beverage to be certified CarbonNeutral.

The third pillar is environmental friendliness and giving back to the community. Apart from sustainable packaging, the enterprise has implemented regional reforestation projects to conserve the environment further. The company has not overlooked the less fortunate in the world as it has been involved in various humanitarian projects.

In 2016 Waiakea volcanic water was ranked 414 on the Inc. 5000 of the fastest growing businesses in America. The high growth rate has been instrumental in placing it against corporate giants such as Microsoft, Under Amor and Zappos. Ryan Emmons, the founder, and CEO of the company is electrified that they are finally achieving their set goals. The success according to him should serve as an illustration that there are many ways to run a business successfully

Ryan says that Waiakea has proved that an enterprise can flourish and maintain its social and moral responsibilities to its clients and the earth at large. The award-winning brand is now a symbol of companies that are concerned with taking care of the society and the environment.
